When I found out Robin had passed from Ray Lewis it was such sad news. I had hoped and prayed that Robin's health would improve and that he would get to enjoy more time with his family and friends. I went to his Facebook page and wrote him a letter. I was so glad that I got to see him a little over three years ago for the last time. I was glad to meet Max who visited Austin. He was so proud of his sons and was such a fine person. I am very thankful for the good times we shared when we were idealistic teens in Corpus Christi. We shared a love for the beach. Somewhere in Heaven way beyond any pain and suffering there is a beautiful beach with perfect waves and Robin is surfing and enjoying good health. My heart goes out to all of his family during your time of great sorrow. Peace be with you. I will treasure the memories I have of Robin. The storms around Austin were too dangerous for me to travel to his memorial service. Rest in Peace sweet friend. Vaya con Dios.
