Obituary of Margaret Glass

Margaret Glass, age 74, of Bagwell, passed away May 26, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Glass was born March 31, 1941, in the Negley Community of Red River County to Ephrium and Lillie Walls Smith. She loved making homemade bread for her family and friends in the Bagwell area. She was known as the “Bagwell Bread Lady”. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Seth Glass; an infant daughter, Tina Rose; a son, William Glass; 2 sisters; and a brother. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Albion Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday night 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 4 sons, Joseph Glass and wife, Stephanie of Lewisville, Arkansas, Ludy Glass of Paris, Doy Glass of Bagwell and Wayne Glass and wife, Cristy of Clarksville; 2 daughters, Susan Swann and husband, Greg of Shandon, California, Alice Mathis and husband, Jim of Marrieta; 1 sister, Betty Bridgers of Paris; 2 brothers, John L. Smith of Bagwell, Thomas Wayne Smith of Bagwell; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion, Jerry Richardson.
