Obituary of Morris Wayne Barnett

Morris Wayne Barnett, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away May 29, 2015, at Regency Healthcare and Rehab Center. Mr. Barnett was born February 17, 1948, in Terrell to Morris “Jack” and Bess Brooks Barnett. He was preceded in death by his father. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2015, at Woodman Cemetery in DeKalb with Tracy Williams and Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Chad Roseberry, Wesley Roseberry, Kelly Roseberry, Philip Smith, Christopher Canant and Brian Freeman. Survivors include his mother, Bess Brooks Farland Anderson and husband, Ken of Clarksville; daughter, Kim Holder of Avery; son, Keith Barnett of Paris; 1 brother, David “Barney” Barnett and wife, Debbie of Clarksville; 3 sisters, Jerry Rust and husband, Gerald of Avery, Terry Smith of Clarksville and Kristi Canant of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
