Obituary of Katherine Wallace

Katherine Wallace, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away May 29, 2015, at Holly Meade Nursing Home in Flower Mound. Mrs. Wallace was born October 1, 1920, in the White Rock Community of Red River County. She was the daughter of Edward and Mattie Watson Roberts. She was an avid sports fan and was a member of the Red River General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Wallace retired from the Red River Bank and volunteered many hours at the Red River Chamber of Commerce. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in White Rock Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Olen Douglas, Don Eudy, Paul Allen, Blaine Puckett, Alan Bean, Darald Kuhlengel, Sammy Bean and Jim Clark. Survivors include her son, Dr. William Wallace and wife, Kimberly of Colleyville; her daughter, Sharon Wallace of San Antonio; her grandchildren, McClure Wallace and wife, Brinn, Beth Wallace and Brad Wallace; her nieces, Tracey Lee and family and Linda Firth and family.
