Obituary of Annie Franklin

Annie Franklin age 91 of Bagwell passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Franklin was born October 11, 1918 in Grant, Tennessee to Herbert Floyd and Gertrude Vandergriff Keaton. She attended the Bagwell Baptist Church, loved gardening and cooking for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Franklin; and children, Colie Etta Johnston, Bennie Floyd Franklin and Wanda Sue Garza. Survivors include two sons, Frankie Franklin and wife Jan of Bagwell and Tony Franklin and wife Karen of Forney; numerous grand, great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2009 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at Turner Cemetery in Emory, Texas under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Anthony Franklin, Mike Franklin, Randy Hendrix, Donny Hendrix, Oscar Hendrix, Kenny Hendrix and Lorenzo Garza.
