Obituary of James Warren

James “J.C.” Warren, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2010, at Regency Healthcare Center. Mr. Warren was born April 5, 1923, in Red River County to Paul and Nora Bearden Warren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Mae Warren, one infant daughter and one brother. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Kellam officiating. Burial will follow in New Shamrock Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Michael Burgess, Richard Lenoir, Jim Knickerbocker, J.P. Warren, Chris Cannon and Mark Minton. Survivors include his sons; Donald and wife Mary Ann Warren of Bogata, Texas and Rodney and Carolyn Warren of Clarksville, a daughter, Patricia and husband Johnny Boyd of Clarksville; nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 1 great grandbaby (on the way), and 2 great-great grandbabies (on the way) and a special friend; Margaret Smith
