Obituary of Mary Pauline Cleary

Mary Pauline Cleary, age 89, of Detroit died November 3, 2009, at ETMC Clarksville. Mrs. Cleary was born August 4, 1920 in Detroit to Frank and Clara Cox Shafer. She worked for the Detroit Independent School District for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Detroit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Cleary; five brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Roy Cleary of Detroit and James Cleary of Wylie; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Roy Cleary, Rev. Bobby Harris and Dale Miller officiating. Burial is to follow in Detroit Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
