Obituary of Ella Tyler Anderson

Ella Tyler Anderson, age 92 of Clarksville, passed away, Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mrs. Anderson was born November 3, 1917 in Haworth, Oklahoma to Alf and Vandella Seay Long. She moved to the Dimple Community in 1925 and was a member of the New Haven Baptist Church. She was an avid hunter and fisherman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Jim Wilson Tyler and her second husband, William “Dub” Anderson, a son, David Wayne Tyler; a daughter, Dorothy Sorrels Scott and five brothers. Survivors include a son, Weldon Tyler; daughter, Doris Foreman both of Clarksville; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Simons officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
