Obituary of Jewell A. Neathery

Jewell A. “Bub” Neathery, Jr., age 58 of Bagwell, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009, at his residence. Bub was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on September 26, 1951 to Jewell A. Neathery, Sr. and June May Neathery. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Army and was owner of J & J Floors in Clarksville. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services are set for Wednesday, November 26, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Steve Raulston, Matt Raulston, Brandon Raulston, Mitchell Raulston, Glen Raulston and Craig Fraizer. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Lingo, Dean Rollins and Mike Yancey. He is survived by his wife, Karen Neathery of Clarksville; daughters, Kala Neathery of Clarksville and Kara and husband Russell Wright of Clarksville; grandchildren, Brenton Neathery and Madyson Wright; sisters, June Ann Lawrence of Ft. Worth, Judy Neathery of Dallas and Jana Hart of Ft. Worth.
