Obituary of Edward G. Northcutt

Edward G. Northcutt, age 79, of Avery, passed away July 18, 2015, at Regency Nursing Center. Mr. Northcutt was born, August 8, 1935, in Red River County to Grover and Maggie Baird Northcutt. He served in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Northcutt. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Josh Northcutt, Chris Northcutt, Scotty Hines, Ryan Kennedy, Chris Kennedy and Dustin Northcutt. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his sisters; Nell Bishop of Clarksville, Lela Wells of Clarksville, Robbie Rhea of Avery and Louise Simmons of Avery; and his brothers, Enos Northcutt of Avery and Jimmy Northcutt of Bogata.
