Obituary of Phyllis Ann Conyers

Phyllis Ann Conyers, age 68, of Leonard, formally of Red River County, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Leonard Manor Nursing Home. Phyllis was born May 23, 1947, in Dallas to Thomas and Billie Jo Whitmire Spradlen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael Paul Akins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at Clarksville Funeral Home. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Russell Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Akins, Keith Akins, Zane Miller, Jacob Smith and Rodger Murphy. Survivers include her husband, Charles Conyers of Leonard; 3 Sons, Richard Akins and wife Cassandra of Leonard, Samuel Akins of Leonard and Shannon Conyers and wife Heather of Greenville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
