Obituary of Juanita Boulware

Juanita Boulware, age 98, of Detroit, passed away, Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Juanita was born February 20, 1917, in Paris to Lonzo and Bura Williams Howard. She was raised in the Pin Hook Area by her grandparents, John David and Nancy Elizabeth Williams. She worked her way through college and received her bachelor’s degree in 1939. Juanita taught school in Kanawha from 1939 to 1940. Christmas of 1939 she met Dean and it was love at first sight. They were married two months later. That love lasted until August 11, 2015. They had four children, Don, Michael, Glen and Jodie, all of which she thought the sun rose and set just for them. Her long life was attributed to her head strong beliefs and her love for her family. Her sharp and to the point mind out lasted her body. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Dean, her favorite son Glen, her favorite granddaughter Barbie and her favorite grandson Jerry. The family will receive friends Friday August 14, 2015 one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home, with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. She is survived by 2 sons, Don Boulware and wife, Liz of Irving and Michael Boulware and wife, Melba; her daughter-in-law Kaye Boulware of Florida; her daughter, Jodie Boulware of Detroit; 7 grandchildren, Lisa Giardina of Florida, Glenda Thompson and husband Kyle,Zuby Boulware, Ron Boulware and wife, Emma of Florida, Gary Morris and wife, Lora, Kyle Boulware of Florida and Joey Phillips; 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
