Obituary of William Amos Beaty

William "Will" Amos Beaty, Jr. was born on January 7, 1947 in Paris Texas, the son of Inez Garrett and William Amos Beaty, Sr. He departed this life on September 4, 2015 at the age of 68. Will is survived by beloved wife of 21 years, Janet Shuler Beaty and is preceded in death by his mother and father. Will was a member of the National Guard and worked for the Texas Railroad Commission. Most of his life was spent in Law Enforcement around the Dallas area, he then moved back to Paris, TX and became a private investigator. Then moving to the old family home in Annona, he worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice at Telford Prison in New Boston retiring in 2012. Will then began to enjoy life working in his yard, garden and home, always accompanied by "his most noble assistants" his faithful companions. Any day you could him yell out "need more barkers on the front". Survivors Include: one sister, Betty Beaty of Blue, TX; daughter, Lori Futch Drew of Ft.Worth, TX; two sons, Robert (Hi) Smith of Houston, TX and Derrick Byers and wife Tarsha of Clarksville, TX; one stepson, Jack Stuart and wife Patti of Colorado Springs Co; sister in law, Luanne York of Annona, TX; grandchildren, Shuler Smith, Andy Smith, Abby Smith, Ashley Stuart, Holly Stuart, and Zayden Byers; nephew, Justin York; faithful companions, Duval, PP Rodriguez, Peanut (Cellie), Comehere, Molly, Libby, Maggie, Bessie, Agnes, Charlie, Baby Puppy, Thomas, Gizmo, Billy Sam, Pawpaw, Luckyweeze, Skinny, Baby Kitty, Pussum, Crazy Legs, and Rowdy all of the home, and numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
