Obituary of Troy "Buddy" Faulkner

Troy Dean “Buddy” Faulkner, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, September 25, 2015, at Birchwood Nursing Center. Troy was born September 3, 1948, in Clarksville to Ocie and Nell Stringer Faulkner. He served in the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, James Ray, Douglas and Charles Faulkner; and 1 sister, Marie Strickler. Troy married Jane Mitchell on January 22, 1968, at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Dimple. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Jane Mitchell Faulkner of Clarksville; 1 son, Travis Faulkner and wife, Wendy of Red Oak; 2 daughters, Tammy Fields of Clarksville and Terri Cannedy and husband, David of Pattonville; 2 sisters, Ovella Huddleston of Clarksville and Ruby Phillips of Mena, Arkansas; 3 brothers, Tommy, Frank and Sammy Faulkner all of Clarksville; and 6 grandchildren.
