Obituary of Mary Jo Rhea

Mary Jo Smith Rhea, age 86, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015, at her home in Austin, Texas with her daughter and son by her side. Mary was born October 30, 1929, in Bagwell to Elzie Palmer and Alma Myrtle Stanphill Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvis Lee Rhea, her daughter, Linda Rhea French and her brother, Aubrey Dan Smith. Survivors include her son, Rick Rhea of Austin; her son-in-law, Kenneth French of Dripping Springs; her daughter, Charlotte Morrow and husband, Jerry of Whitewright; 4 grandchildren, Steven Morrow and wife, Erin of Josephine, Valerie Schraplau and husband, Denton of Melissa, Krystal Morrow of Duncanville and Katrina French of Round Rock; 5 great grandchildren, Jeffery Morrow, Luke Morrow, Cheyenne Morrow, Hunter Morrow and Ella Morrow and many cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Graveside services are set for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Boxelder Cemetery. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
