Obituary of Willie Dowell Goff

Willie Dowell Goff, age 45, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. He faught a brave battle with cancer. Willie’s middle name said a lot about his character, he do well to many people. Dowell was born January 9, 1970, in Clarksville to Willie and Connie Todd Goff. He was preceded in death by his father. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1988 and attended Grayson Junior College. Dowell was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 2:00 Thursday, December 3, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ledbetter, Rev. Dennis McClintic, Rev. Don Shovan and Rev. James Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in New Shamrock Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Bruce Brannon, Miguel Alvarez, Derreck Rose, Jeremy Page, Greg Haynes and Rodney Surratt. Honorary Pallbearers are David Grigg, James Vaughan, Connor Roark and Ray Seleck. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Goff; mother, Connie Goff of Clarksville; 1 son, Brandon Justis of Colbert, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Amber Justis of Colbert, Oklahoma; and 1 brother, Mitchell Hill. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
