Obituary of Nancy Bell Brooks

Nancy Bell Brooks, age 74, of Johntown, passed away, Thursday, December 3, 2015, in Chandler, Arizona. Nancy was born in Omaha to Samuel Houston and Velma Hodges Johnson. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Talco. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Ray Brooks; a grandson, Doyle Brooks; and 3 brothers. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Talco with Rev. Glenn Connell officiating. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 3 daughters, Glenda Kathryn "Kathy" Waldrum and husband, Ricky of Sugar Hill; and their children, Lois and Eric Hall, Buddy and Leslie Waldrum and Glenna and Michael Smith, Darlene Kates and husband, James of Chandler, Arizona and their children, Daniel Southerland, Nicole Southerland and fiancé, Joshua Red Horse, Ray Southerland and wife Tricia, Amanda Kates and fiancé Daniel Montano; and Sandy Brooks of Johntown and her children, Jeffery Brooks and Stephanie Mirowitz; great grandchildren, Caleb, Jeremhia, Nathan, Landon, Carter, Jairred, Jacklyn, Preston and his mother, Jordan, Leah, Hannah, Lucy, Bentley, Caden and Ellie.
