Obituary of Craig Schleker

Craig Schleker, 56, of Shady Shores, died Saturday August 7, 2010, at Baylor All-Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. Craig was born on July 22, 1954, in Long Island, New York, to Nathan and Othell (Jackson) Schleker. He was married to Denise White on September 16, 2008, in Denton. He owned and operated C&C Directional Boring. He was a loving, caring and very dedicated husband. He was dedicated to making his business grow so he could take care of others. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 11, in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery, in DeKalb with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Craig is survived by his wife, Denise Schleker of Shady Shores; daughters Christon Herrera and son in law Johnny Herrera of Corpus Christi and Carolyn Schleker of Frisco; stepson Chris Harvey of Clarksville; grandchildren Carson Schleker, Ava McDonald and unborn grandson Jagger Herrera; aunt Folly Bryant of Annona; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Deloris and Darrell White of Avery; sister-in-law, Deanna White (Lil D) of Avery; and his greater C&C employee family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Schleker. The family would like to thank Baylor All Saints-Ft Worth for all the love, care, kindness, and dedication throughout Craig's care.
