Obituary of Jerry W Hill

Jerry Wayne Hill, 75, of Clarksville, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 5th, 2016. Born in Dallas, Texas to Viola and James Hill. Jerry grew up in Irving, Texas until he joined the Navy in 1958. He had a distinguished 24 year Naval Career where he was a Vietnam War Veteran, Chief Warrant Officer CW02, and Master Diver. Upon retiring from the Navy he worked for Vought in Grand Prairie, Texas for 15 years where he worked on the first Stealth Bomber. Retiring to Clarksville, Texas in 2002 with his wife Donna, where they lived out their dreams of owning land, fishing, hunting, working on home projects and enjoying each other. Jerry is survived by his wife, Donna J. Hill and their three daughters, Cheryl Hermann of Bentleyville, PA and her husband Bill, Barbara Hill (Grindle) of Kingwood, TX and her partner Steve Dace, Jere Prusch of Bellevue, WA and her husband Erik, he has 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Hill of Byrum, TX and his brother, Geral Hasten of Bedford, TX. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
