Obituary of Shirley Louise Axelson

Shirley Axelson, age 70, of Annona, passed away March 3, 2016, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mrs. Axelson was born February 3, 1946, in Corpus Christi to D.L. and Louise Phelps Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Betty Marie Phillips and her son, Cody Dion Griggs. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her son, Aceca Duane Griggs of Boxelder; brother, Paul Dene Phillips and wife, Pat of Clarksville; 2 grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb Griggs both of Mesquite; 2 nieces, Dasa Reed of Euliss and Paula Runyan of Clarksville; 2 nephews, Brandon Phillips of Mt. Pleasant and Johnny Reed.
