Obituary of Lawrence D. Phelps

Lawrence D. Phelps, age 81, of Arlington, formerly of Red River County passed away, Friday, April 8, 2016, at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Mr. Phelps was born April 11, 1934, in Red River County to Herman Lee and Thelma Frunk Phelps. Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at English Cemetery with Randy Ross officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include a step son, Freddie Roseberry; special friend, Nellie Abney of Mansfield; 2 sisters, Dorthey Crawford of Mesquite and Vivian Yates of Terrell; 3 brothers, Lonnie Phelps of Bentonville, Arkansas, Lewis Phelps of Canton and Leon Phelps of Mesquite; and several nieces and nephews.
