Obituary of Hannah Gay Michie

Hannah Gay Michie, age 24, of Dallas, passed away, Monday, May 9, 2016, at Baylor Hospital in Plano. Hannah was born, December 6, 1991, in Lewisville to Jeff Farris and Darrilyn Plafcan Michie. She was of the Methodist faith. Hannah was preceded in death by her grandfather’s, James E. Michie, III and Charles “Chuck” Plafcan. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church with Bro. Sherman Gardner and Pastor Eve Gorrell officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 5:30 p.m., Saturday in Springhill Cemetery near Dekalb all under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jacob Michie, Chris Plafcan, Jerry Jacob Horton, Max Thweatt, will Watson and Daniel Domell. Honorary Pallbearers are, Alan Burkett, Lewis Hunt, David Harris, Scott Emerson and Jeff Sweitch. Survivors include her parents, Jeffery Farris Michie and wife, Jennifer of Krum and Darrilyn Watson and husband, Bill of Lewisville; her daughter, Ava Ruth Michie; her sister, Sarah Howman of Carrollton; her brother, Jacob Michie, USMC, of Pensacola, Florida; her grandmother’s Jan Farris Michie of Argyle and Sheila Plafcan of Kerens; grandfather, Wallace H. Emerson, Jr. of Haskell; and significant other, Jeff Sweitch.
