Obituary of Billy L Trimm

Billy L. Trimm, age 78, of Avery, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Mr. Trimm was born, October 8, 1937, in DeKalb to Robert Lee and Sally Peek Trimm. Bill enjoyed farming, construction and was a former Mayor for the City of Avery. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Avery. Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Trimm; and a sister, Patsy Mills. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Avery Cemetery with Rev. H.D. “Deanie” Lambert and Doug Harmon officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. There will be no formal visitation for Mr. Trimm. Survivors include his wife, Billie Trimm of Avery; 2 sons, Robbie Trimm of Avery and Jeff Trimm of San Diego, California; 2 step daughters, Brenda Mikel of Garland and Barbara Fitts of Allen; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
