Obituary of Jim Calloway

Jim Calloway, age 80, of Bagwell, passed away, Wednesday, June 01, 2016, at his residence. Jim was born November 29, 1935, in Tell, Texas to Guy Josh and Gladys Emmaline Diggs Calloway. Jim retired after 20 years at the Dallas Fire Department and became a rancher. He loved golfing, but most of all he loved his friends and family. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Janice Calloway and his sister, Dorothy Douglas. There will be no formal visitation. Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, in Garland Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his son, Jay Calloway and wife, Sam of Clarksville; 2 daughters, Ellie Wolf and husband, Cab Lee of Clarksville and Mandy Wilkerson and husband Phil of Paris; 1 sister, Ann Lusk Smith and husband, Lawson of Ruidoso, New Mexico; 6 grandchildren, Paige Wolf, Josh Calloway and wife, Barbie, Riley Calloway and wife, Ashley, Kelby Wolf, Kaci Crawford and fiancé Delbert Burris and Kara Crawford; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews, Mark Douglas and Cody Lusk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society; the Red River County Public Library, 315, N. Walnut, Clarksville, Texas 75426; or the Bagwell Baptist Church, P.O.
