Obituary of Misty Ricjean Simpson

Lamystia “Misty” Ricjean Owens Simpson, age 38, of Clarksville, passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2016. Misty was a very loving mother and wife. She was compassionate, strong willed and the glue that kept their family together. She received her RN degree from Southeastern Oklahoma University and was employed by Cypress Home Care in Clarksville. Misty was born, August 22, 1977, in Idabel, Oklahoma to Richard and Lawanda Stevenson Owens. She attended the Maranatha Christian Center in De Kalb. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. Steve McMichael and Bro. Jim Stinson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are, Wade Stevenson, Shane Owens, Billy Owens, Ricky Owens, Mike Gibson and Michael Fletcher. Survivors include her husband, Todd Simpson of Clarksville; her son, Brandon Simpson of Clarksville; her daughter, Shelbi Simpson of Clarksville; her parents, Richard and Lawanda Owens of Hayworth, Oklahoma; 4 brothers, Wade Stevenson of Idabel, Oklahoma, Shane Owens of Idabel, Oklahoma, Billy Owens of Tennessee and Ricky Owens of Hayworth, Oklahoma.
