Obituary of Eunice E Ewing

Eunice E. Ewing, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Regency Nursing Center. Mrs. Ewing was born, September 6, 1928, in Montague County, Texas to Benjamin Gordon and Alpha Tompkins Calhoun. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James Milton “Buck” Calhoun and Jack Calhoun. Eunice was a member of the Bagwell Church of Christ and retired from the Red River Army Depot. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Friday at Clarksville Funeral Home. Graveside services are set for 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2016, at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Steve Marx officiating. Entombment will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are, Wesley Ewing, Brad Ewing, Dickie Ewing, Kyle Ewing, Joel Green and Buddy Eddins. Survivors include 2 sons, Wesley Ewing and wife, Karen of Nixa, Missouri and Dickie Ewing and wife, Betty of Clarksville; 4 grandchildren, Brad Ewing of Nixa, Missouri, Connie Ewing Crowell of Tom Ball, Kyle Ewing of Ft. Worth and Amy Ewing Green of Paris; 3 sisters, Bonnie Davis of Quanah, Nettie Young of Iowa Park and Mary Calhoun of Iowa Park; great grandchildren, Blake and Shelby Ewing, Hayley and Kaitlyn Anguiano, Kole and Kade Ewing and Sophia and Eli Green.
