Obituary of James Rodney Warren

Gy. Sgt. James Rodney Warren, age 65, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Plano. James was born October 28, 1950, in Clarksville to James Clyde and Bertie Mae Seay Warren. James served in the Marine Corps for 21 ½ years. He served his country in Vietnam and Desert Storm. James loved his family and taking care of them. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. He was married to his wife, Carolyn for 42 years. James worked at Wal Mart for 12 years and later retired from the Red River County Water Supply. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Warren. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. July 29, 2016, at New Shamrock Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Warren of Clarksville; 1 son, James Paul Warren of Clarksville; 2 daughters, Jamie Warren of Clarksville and Jessica Warren and son-in-law Javylin Miller of Clarksville; 1 sister, Patricia Boyd and husband, Johnny of Clarksville; 1 sister-in-law, Mary Ann Warren of Bogata; 1 brother-in-law, Bill Carlton and wife Marion of Conway, Arkansas; 2 grandchildren, Devon Miller and Chelsea Miller of Powderly and numerous nieces and nephews.
