Obituary of Thula Gay Eudy

Thula Gay Simmons Eudy, age 68, of New Boston, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Hospice of Texarkana. Mrs. Eudy was born, March 14, 1948, in Houston to Robert Samuel and El Wanda Jones Simmons. She was of the Methodist faith. Gay was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Samuel Ellis Winkle; and a sister, Beverly Tippie. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at English Cemetery with Rev. Don “Dink” Benton officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Tracy Tippie, John David Thomas, Jonathon Thomas, Jeffrey Thomas, Kyle Tippie and Chance Ebarb. Honorary Pallbearers are, Marvin Simmons, Crockett “Gene” Simmons, John Simmons and Tom Simmons. There will be no formal visitation. Survivors include a son, Anthony Winkle of Bagwell; 2 grandchildren, Anthony Bryon Winkle and Tonya Lee Winkle; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
