Obituary of Charles William Wauhop

Charles William Wauhop, age 87, of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed away, Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. Mr. Wauhop was born, November 13, 1928, in the Holly Creek Community of McCurtain County, Oklahoma to William Andrew and Mary Esther Simpson Wauhop. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Zola Francis Wauhop. He received his Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and retired from the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date at Madras Cemetery near Clarksville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
