Obituary of Charles Garland Owen

Charles Garland "Chuck" Owen, age 73, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, September 5, 2016, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mr. Owen was born February 14, 1943, in Caseyville, Kentucky to Charles Conrad and Anna Marion Heine Owen. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lucille Owen. Survivors include his niece, Debbie Collins and husband, Tony of Sturgis, Kentucky; nephew, John Owen, Jr. of Clay, Kentucky; brother, John Aaron Owen and wife, Betty of Morganfield, Kentucky; 4 great nieces, Lee Anna Jones and husband, Robert of Sturgis, Kentucky, Amanda Nunnely and husband, Mark of Shawneetown, Illinois, Ashley Owen of Morganfield, Kentucky and Cassie Owen of Tennessee; great nephews, Michael Owen and wife, Kacie of North Dakota; 6 great great nephews; and 3 great great nieces. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Chaplin Rocky Burrow officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday morning until service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.
