Obituary of Larry Joe Nolen

Larry Nolen, age 66, of Paris, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. Larry was born June 1, 1950, in Bogata to Joe and Billie Nolen. Larry was happiest piddling outside in his shop and fixing on anything and everything. He had a huge heart and was willing to help anyone. He loved his family and friends. He spent his retirement spoiling his grandkids and great grandkids, especially Makenna, Kace “Earl” and Karter who were his best buddies. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger and Johnny Nolen. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Faye Nolen of Paris; 5 children, Michelle Ervin and husband, Chris, Gary Nolen and fiancée, Shawna McClutchin, Sharlene Holland and husband, Randell, Steve Songer and wife, Sandy and Traci Songer; 5 grandchildren, Shannon Rodgers, Cooter Nelson, Tyler Hicks, Blake Hamill and Dusty Songer; 7 siblings, Sue Thomason, Myra Johnson, Kay Haddock, Pat Hubbard, Bobby Nolen, Mark Nolen and Jan Burgess and 7 great great grandchildren.
