Obituary of Kenneth Robert Strader

Kenneth Robert Strader, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Regency Nursing Center. Kenneth was born, December 1, 1937, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a former Captain with the Dallas Fire Department. His mother, Nancy Kitt; first wife, Carolyn Terry Strader and granddaughter-in-law, Amber Strader preceded him in death. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Carroll Poole Strader of Clarksville; his son, Kenneth Ray Strader and wife, Debbie of Garland; his daughters, Katherine Diane Cheatham and husband, Craig of Frisco and Nancy Elizabeth Smith and husband, Ken of Mesquite; his brother, C.W. Pridemore and wife, Margaret of Kokomo, Indiana; grandchildren, Brandon Howell, Amber Brownlee and husband, Kevin, Tyler Cheatham, Madison Cheatham, Stephaine Baker and husband, Nick, Tiffany Smith, Brittany Smith, Steven Strader and Jeff Strader and wife, Cherie; great grandchildren, Savannah, McKenna, Kloie, Haley, Katie, Kobe, Mason, Carson, Duke, Claire and Knox.
