Obituary of Minnie Lee Stratton

Minnie Lee Cole Stratton, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Stratton was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and being around her First Baptist Church Family. Her husband, Tommie Gerald Stratton, a brother and a sister; and her daughter-in-law, Nell Stratton, preceded her in death. Mrs. Stratton was born, October 13, 1930, in Dallas to William and Esther Cole. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2016, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are, Joshua Gambrell, John Gambrell, Brian Larzelere, Johnny Lee, Colter Franks and Justin Franks. Honorary Pallbearers are the Men of the First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 2 sons, Tommie Lee Stratton and wife, Phyllis of Alma, Arkansas and Larry David Stratton of Clarksville; 1 daughter, Vickie Ann Stratton of Clarksville; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
