Obituary of Annie Bell McDowell

Annie Bell McDowell, age 84, of Sachse, passed away, Monday, November 14, 2016, at Methodist Medical Center in Richardson. Mrs. McDowell was born February 22, 1932, in Annona to William Henry and Mettie Bartlett Burrow. She was preceded in death by 19 siblings. She married Billy Joe McDowell on July 15, 1950, in Ashdown, Arkanas. Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in Aikin Grove Cemetery with Calvin Burrow officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe McDowell of Sachse; her son, Mack McDowell and wife, Lori of Marshall; her daughters, Pat Richardson of Leonard, Linda Johnson and husband, Barry of Garland and Joanne McDowell of Sachse; her brother, Bobby Burrow and wife, Lavern of Garland; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
