40+ years flew by since I moved out of the suburbs of Detroit, leaving my best friend behind. We touched base for a few years afterward, but when he went back into the Navy we lost touch completely. I wondered from time to time what ever became of him and reached out to his sister Glenda for answers, but never connected again. Coming from such a large family, it saddened my heart to learn only three brothers survive Tim and there was no children mentioned in the memorial. I'm glad to read he married and especially glad he continued as his career in the Navy. Tim loved the U.S. Navy, our country, and re-soling his boots with tire treads. What an tremendous loss for everyone he left behind. I regret not staying in touch over the years. Tim was a devout and a caring friend. Rest in peace, dear friend. In heaven there are no knee-knockers.

I am sorry to read of the passing of Timothy on November 22,2016. I attended Normandy High School with Timothy during the years of 1970 through 1974. He was a class mate and a good friend during my High School days. We lost touch of each other as I joined the Marine Corps right out of Normandy, and Timothy joined the Navy. He loved our Country very much and it shows as he retired from the Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. Rest in Peace Timothy, you will be missed and remembered by Veterans everywhere.

Tim was one hell of a ball player, and friend. Have not had contact with him in years. I know he was a great Sailor, and Husband from our childhood together.
