Obituary of Henry "Bit" Whiteman

Henry Alberta “Bit” Whiteman, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, December 09, 2016, at Regency Nursing Center. Henry was born in the Madras Community June 6, 1922, to Henry A. and Helen Whiteman. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Forrest G. and Donal A. Whiteman and 1 sister, Martha C. Whiteman. Miss. Whiteman retired from Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation after 35 years of service as a clerk. She enjoyed all outdoor activities, gardening and sewing. She was dedicated to her family and proud of the Whiteman home site of over 4 generations. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Madras Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. She is survived by her sister, Mary Whiteman of Clarksville; her brother, William D. “Bill” Whiteman and wife, Donnie of Clarksville and several nieces and nephews.
