Obituary of Shawn "Cowboy" Splawn

Shawn Ladale “Cowboy” Splawn, age 41, of Blossom, passed away, Wednesday, February 08, 2017, at his residence. Shawn loved the outdoors, whether was it was hunting, fishing or just enjoying a good camp fire. He was born in Paris on October 8, 1975, the son of Judy Quick Splawn. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School. Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Christeen Badgett Quick; and his uncle, Chris Quick. “Cowboy” was a member of the RR Cowboy Church and was baptized there on May 20, 2012. Memorial services are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his mother, Judy Smith of Clarksville; Uncle Keith Quick and wife, Tammy of Clarksville; aunt, Shirley Quick of Clarksville; brother, Shane Splawn of Clarksville; cousins, Kimberly Hamrick and daughter, Morgan, Zack Luckett and son, Keagan and Camdyn Cockerham; his best friend, Jeff Phillips and his children who loved him as “Uncle Shawn”, Jonathon, Jerrica and Jessica Phillips. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the RR Cowboy Church in Clarksville.
