Obituary of Billie J. Barrett

Billie Jean Barrett, age 78, of Bogata, passed away, Monday, February 20, 2017, at her residence. Mrs. Barrett was born December 14, 1938, in Paris to Bill and Eva Daniels Thompson. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jesse Barrett and Donald Barrett; and a brother, Bill Wayne Thompson. Billie loved dancing and in her younger years enjoyed horseback riding. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Surivors include her husband of 61 years, Jesse Barrett of Bogata; 2 sons, Keith Barrett and wife, Martha of Cuthand and Roy Barrett and wife, Elizabeth of Bogata; 1 daughter, Wanda Watkins and husband, Todd of Bogata; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
