Obituary of Frances Joyner McDowell

Frances Marie Joyner McDowell, age 68, of Richardson, formerly of Red River County, passed away, Monday, September 13, 2010, at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Garland. Frances was born September 24, 1941, in Clarksville to William Hardeman and Lola Bell Anderson Joyner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll R. McDowell; her parents; her sister, Dempsey Griffin; her brother, David Joyner; and grandchildren, Johnny R. and Jennifer M. McDowell. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, Johnny Ray, David DeWayne and Billy Carroll McDowell; a daughter, Lola Marie McDowell; a sister, Billie M. Joyner; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
