Obituary of Harold H Quillen

Harold Howard Quillen, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Harold was born January 3, 1930, in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Edward Kenneth and Edna Dalrymple Quillen.  Harold served in the United States Army for 20 years.  He served in the Korean War and received numerous declarations for outstanding service. Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1983 and was well loved in the community.  He loved his friends and family.  Preceding him in death are his parents, his first wife, Billie Quillen; 3 brothers, Gene, Edward and Arnold Quillen and his sister, Bonnie Quillen.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 19, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Funeral services are set for 2:00p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at The First Baptist Church in Clarksville with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Quillen of Clarksville, his son, Gregory Alan Quillen and wife, Christy of Council Bluffs, IA; his daughter, Julie Banes and husband, Terry of Haughton, LA; his sister, Jo Ann Fay of Dighton, KS; 5 grandchildren, Will Clayton, Tammy Rudder, Jared Quillin, Erin Bedford and Mandi Aistrup; 6 great grandchildren, Adelle Clayton, Aubrea Rudder, Hannah Rudder, Maci Rudder, Faeth Quillen and Billie Bedford and 4 step sons, Russel, Doug, Gary and Jack Thomas.
