Obituary of Guy Melvin Holder

Guy Melvin Holder, age 72, of Annona, passed away Friday, June 02, 2017, at Paris Regional Medical Center.  Guy was born March 13, 1945, in Pasadena to Guy Alvin and Ellie Kimes Holder.  He was preceded in death by a son, James Marcus Holder and a sister Cynthia Mofley.  Guy enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with the family on the ranch.  He never said no when it came to a job that needed to be done.  Guy served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Cloyd officiating.  Burial will follow in English Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. 

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Charley Self, Corey Willis, Nick Baird, Eddy Castaneda, Charlie Hines, Devin McEwin and Russell Dieterich.

Honorary Pallbearers are, Kyle Baird, Bill Minter, Jamey Jackson, Marcus Willis and Levi Turner.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Nancy Minter and husband, Wesley of Annona and Monica Green and husband Max of College Station; sister, Kandy Blome and Husband, Richard of Poteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Cory Holder, Garrett Minter, Jaxson Green and Adyson Green; a great grandchild, Kyden Holder; and several nieces and nephews.
