Obituary of Martha Mallory

~~Martha Mallory, age 96, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, November 13, 2017, at Titus Regional Medical Center.

Martha was born April 3, 1921, in Red Springs, Texas to Horace and Gussie Munn Long.  She retired after serving 34 years as a nurse at the Red River General Hospital.  Nursing and her family were her life, she loved taking care of people.  Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Clyde Mallory; two sisters, Josephine Hitt and Margie Malone and one brother, Hoyt Long.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Ray Boyd officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Mark Mallory and wife, Pam of Mt. Pleasant; 2 grandchildren, Dr. Daniel Mallory and wife, Allison of Decatur and Christina Griffin and husband, Matt of Texarkana and 6 great grandchildren, Claire Mallory, Carter Mallory, Catherine Mallory, Whit Griffin, Mallory Griffin and Boyd Griffin.
