Obituary of Anna Novell Duncan

Anna Novell Duncan, age 95, of Avery, passed away, Monday, December 18, 2017, at Clarksville Nursing Center.  Mrs. Duncan was a retired Supervisor for the Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant.  She was born, December 15, 1922 to Charlie H. and Etoy Hogland Hensarling.  Novell was a longtime member of the Avery Church of Christ.  Her former husband, Lane Duncan and a son, Jerry Duncan preceded her in death.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with David Ingram officiating.  Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Colby Rich, Micah Rich, Aaron Hudson, Jered Hudson, Samuel Deter and Bradley Duncan.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include 1 son, Bruce Lane Duncan of Avery; 4 grandchildren, Donna Rich and husband, Mark of Bonham, Deana Hudson and husband, Mark of Bonham, Darla Deter and husband, Sam of Branson, Missouri and Brad Duncan and wife, Tammy of Dallas; 10 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
