Obituary of Brenda Kelley
Mrs. Brenda Kay Chenault Kelley died peacefully in Clarksville, TX on January 21st, 2018 at the age of 66.
Brenda is survived by her husband Michael Kelley of 16 years, son Kevin Walls (Crystal) of Copper Canyon, Texas, son Keith Davis (Michele) of Westfield, Indiana, daughter Melissa Davis Ingram (Chris) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, niece Krystle Rains (Scott) of Alexander, AR, and brother Paul Chenault (Bob) of Dallas Texas. In addition to her children, Brenda was blessed with 11 grand-children; Meghan Cullen, Memory Walls, Trevor Walls, Austin Walls, Dalton Davis, Austin Ward, Caiden Ingram, Kylie Ingram, Christina Ingram, Christian Ingram, and Caleb Ingram. She is preceded in death by her Father, William Carroll Chenault of Benton, Arkansas and Mother, Ernestine Chenault of Dallas Texas.
Brenda was born on March 26th, 1951 in Benton, Arkansas to Ernestine and William Carroll Chenault. She graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1969. She married Mike Kelley March 6th, 2002 and resided in Clarksville for the last 15 years. She was an entrepreneur and owner of 70 East Liquor in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and a long time employee of Kroger Company as Seafood Manager at both Central Avenue and Airport Road locations for over 15 years. During her time at Kroger, she was a proud member of the UFCW Union. Brenda lived life on the edge in her younger days and was a loving mother to her children. Her later years she lived life vicariously through her children and grand-children by watching and hearing of them growing up and doing great things with more to come. Her legacy will forever be through her children and her grandchildren to live, laugh, love, and never take for granted the people who are family.
Brenda has chosen to be cremated, but a celebration of Brenda’s life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on February 17th, 2018 at Clarksville Funeral Home, 100 W. College Ave, Clarksville, TX 75426. Paul Chenault will officiate the ceremony at the request of Mike and the family. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Brenda’s life at this time. A private burial will be held for family only at the residence.
