Obituary of Jimmy Cole Meador

Jimmy Cole Meador, age 62, of Avery, passed away, Monday, January 22, 2018, at her residence.  Jimmy was a nurse and was employed by the Red River General Hospital in Clarksville and later the Ponderosa Nursing Home in DeKalb.  She was born, October 22, 1955, in Clarksville to W.C. and Carrie Prewitt Cole.  Her husband, Freddy Joe Meador; grandparents, William Prewitt, Iva Finley, Maude Cole and Charlie Cole preceded her in death.  

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Deanie Lambert and Chance Cole officiating.  Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are, Robert McPeak, Jeff Day, A.J. Morris, Brian McGregor, Blake Williams, Joey Warren, Aaron Rawls and Jim Cheyne.

Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. 

Survivors include 1 son, Brian Meador and wife, Phonda of Avery; 1 daughter, Tracey Lambert and husband, Jason of Avery; her parents, W.C. and Carrie Cole of Clarksville; 1 sister, Dani Allen of Carrollton; 4 brothers, Wade Cole of Georgetown, Kelly Cole of Hendersonville, Tennessee; Duke Cole of Dallas and Chance Cole of Union, Kentucky; grandchildren, Briar Meador and Bree, Shane and Samantha Lambert; and her mother-in-law, Aletha Meador of Avery.
