Dea, I was given the privilege to have been the last family member to be with you, I hope that last hug and kiss I gave you lasted you through your final moments. You have been a solid figure in my life, you were there during down times, and so much fun during the good times. But most of all your care of our father was your greatest contribution to our family. You were an angel for doing that. I like to think that Dad called you and his sister to his side to remain with him for eternity. May you all blend into the beauty of Nature's flow. Susan

My condolences to all of Dea's family. Dea was my mother, Annie Braginsky's room mate at Clarksville Nursing Center. We loved her. She was part of our family. My mother is what they call a loose canon. Dea was quite tolerent of her. I thanked her many times for that. Annie is very possessive of me and as we got to know Dea, didn't mind sharing me. I just announced one day that we were adopting Dea and that was that. Dea was happy about it. I have to say that I admired her. I loved her quick, sarcastic wit which would come out of nowhere at times. I found her to be beautiful, intelligent, polite, very caring and I loved to be around her. We miss her so much! I feel so honored and privileged to have known her for the short time that I did.

Dea, tomorrow I'm going to toast your life with an ice cold Dr Pepper and recall the great ole times, we got to spend, drinking it together. Know that, whenever I eat a cheeseburger, you'll be there. Each time I pet a dog and look into it's eyes, you'll be there. Life goes on, the torch is passed and your memory lives on. Death is not an ending, but a symbol of movement along the path which we all are traveling. As it may be painful to lose contact with the physical aspect of one we love, we have been and always will be a part of each other. Peace & Love, Sam

Dear Susan, Patty, Anne, Bobby and Louise: Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. Dea was a lovely person who we enjoyed knowing. I remember meeting her for the first time on our family trip to Texas in 1968 when you were living in Dallas. This was before she and Uncle John were married. Then a few years later she and John brought Louise, about 4 years old at the time, up to Ft Wayne for a visit during the summertime. In 1975 we visited with her and John in New Braunfels during our summer vacation. She was always so warm and kind - a real lady! I know you will miss her. Virginia was known as "Dea" to her family and friends. She always fond pleasure in her volunteer work with the Chamber of Commerce, PRIDE, and the Courthouse Restoration Project, just to name a few. She was proud of her family history and her ever growing family members. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Love, Patty
