Obituary of Billie Jean Bonner

(Billie) Jean Calhoun Bonner, age 86, of the Negley Community, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, ETMC in Tyler. Jean was born April 25, 1926, in Clarksville to Park Monroe and Jessie Simpson Calhoun. She graduated from Clarksville High School and moved to Dallas where she worked for the Frito-Lay Company as an executive assistant. She also worked in various other positions at Lockheed-Martin of California and Wausau Insurance Company of Ft. Worth. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Bonner; one son, Robert Allen Bonner; and one brother Sam Calhoun. She is survived by her beloved Jim Eldredge of the Negley Community; one daughter, Sherry DiPatri of Paris; grandson, George Alan Heckaman and wife Barbara; granddaughter, Andria Bradac and husband Matthew; grandson, John David Heckaman and wife Misti; grandson, T.R. Banovich and wife Linda; granddaughter, Fallon Nicole Bonner; family friend, Brenda Banovich; and her loving and faithful companion, Sogie. Funeral Services are set for 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Clarksville Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Travis Phillips, John David Heckaman, G.A. Hines, George Alan Heckaman, Anthony Maccarone, Michael Reeves, Matthew Bradac and Drew Phillips. Honorary Pallbearer is Billy Sam Allen.
