Dear Marjorie and family, It was our blessing to have known you and Guy. Both of you were always serving others. We still miss Marjorie in our Friends of the Library group reading to young children. Dan enjoyed his long association with Guy as the Treasurer of the Carnegie Museum. Where ever the two of you went, you made life better for the community. Hanford misses you. Fondly, Wilma

Dear Marjorie Hardin and the family of Guy Hardin, I share your sadness over the loss of my friend, Guy Hardin. He was a fine man. I learned of his death in the Hanford Sentinel on August 15, 2013.

I'm so sorry to hear of Guy Hardin's passing. Although I was not a member of his church, I did get to know both Guy and Marjorie through the seniors' writing group, held at the Hanford Senior Center on Tuesday mornings. I thoroughly enjoyed both their gentle leadership and their written contributions. Know that Marjorie and all the family and friends are in my prayers.

The Hardin are wonderful people. When we visited Calvary Christian Center we were so glad that they always served with love and compassion (Marjorie was a Sunday School teacher for the Middlers, the kids loved her). Marjorie, The Lord be with you and your familiy in this time. Blessings

I was a bit stunned when I got the email that Guy had received his Final Orders and sailed on Eternal Patrol. We've missed both Guy and Marjorie since the move to Texas. Sorry we missed his services. I will have a set of Eternal Patrol certificates in the mail to Marjorie in the next day or two. There is a huge empty space in our lives where Guy once stood. But we take solace from the knowledge that, having accepted God's great gift of salvation through faith in Christ, we will meet again, in that far-away place where there is no war, no evil, no sickness or pain. But until that time comes, all of us whose lives Guy touched carry a part of him within us, in our hearts and in our memoriies. So we bid our Shipmate Bon Voyage, Until We Meet Again. We thank you for your service, both in war and peace, and thank you for being a part of our lives. And we pray God's healing Grace flow over Marjorie and all the family, friends, and Shipmates who mourn him. - Chaplain, USSVI Wahoo Base / FRA-261 sends.

Becky and family, I am very sorry to hear about Guy. He was always a very sweet and kind friend and neighbor. I loved visiting with him at and hearing his stories. Last summer when John was discharged from the Navy, he visited with Guy and was amazed. I pray for blessings for you and your family.
