September 19, 2013, was one of the hardest days of my entire life. Sammy meant a lot to me; he helped me across the monkey bars and played patty cake with me when I was 5 years old. He was the best friend that everyone hopes to have while growing up. 4 years later and it still hurts like it happened just yesterday. If anyone in his family is reading this, I was the girl whom gave his mother a yellow rose at the end of his funeral. Please know that he'll never be forgotten.
