Obituary of Samuel Winkle

Samuel Ellis Winkle, age 47, of Bagwell, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013, at his residence. Samuel was born July 18, 1966, in Clarksville to Henry Ellis and Thula Simmons Winkle. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1985, and was preceded in death by his father. Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2103, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Don C. Benton officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. There will be no formal visitation. Pallbearers are Tracy Tippie, Ricky Smith, Sr., Ricky Smith, Jr., Charles Murphy, Michael Murphy and B.J. Ealey. Survivors include his mother, Thula “Gay” Eudy of New Boston; his brother, Anthony Bryon Winkle of Bagwell; his cousins, Wanda Sue Thomas of Daingerfield and Tacy Tippie of Rowlett; and several aunts and uncles.
